I introduce a festival called " Naha festival ". That is one of festivals hold at my hometown. The festival was held for three days include Health-Sports Day every year. The most important event of the festival is tug of war! This hawser is made from straw and the size is listed in the Guinness Book. The tug of war divides region into two groups, east and west and vie with one another. Ancient people prayed a rainmaking rite of rice farming, a bumper crop and symbolize trading city. These are the reason, the festival began.
